The Superyacht Agency partnered with the Gibraltar Port Authority to develop a data-led strategy to strengthen Gibraltar’s position among the world’s leading superyacht flag states. Through proprietary market intelligence, competitor benchmarking, regulatory assessment and extensive industry consultation, the project examined the barriers to yacht registration and the factors influencing flag selection. The resulting intelligence enabled the Port Authority to better understand market sentiment, identify opportunities to enhance the appeal of the Gibraltar register and establish a strategic roadmap to drive future growth, strengthen competitive positioning and increase engagement across the superyacht industry.
